Managing Member
Nicole B. Pirog provides legal counsel to clients across the payments, fintech, and business law sectors, including ISOs, agents, ISVs, payment facilitators, banks, and fintech startups. She brings extensive experience in contract review and negotiation and advises clients on risk management, strategic business planning, and payments-related regulatory matters, including surcharging and discount program compliance. Ms. Pirog also assists clients with trademark registration, acquisitions, and litigation support.
Before focusing her practice on payments and fintech, Ms. Pirog held operational and development roles at a legal bar exam company, where she developed legal content and refined her legal research and analytical skills. She also has experience in private practice, where she handled family law matters.
Ms. Pirog earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. While in law school, she was a member of the Science and Technology Law Review and a recipient of the James L. and Catherine Nolan Walsh Scholarship. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society, with a minor in Forensic Science, from Purdue University, where she graduated with distinction.
